License Application for Foreign Amateur Radio Licensees (Malaysia)

To apply for an amateur radio operating license in Malaysia as a foreign licensee, kindly prepare and submit the following documents:

Required Documents:

  1. Completed License Application Form

  2. A photocopy of your valid amateur radio operator certificate.

  3. A photocopy of your passport’s identification (photo) page.

  4. A photocopy of your visa page (if applicable).

  5. A photocopy of your Malaysian work permit.

  6. A letter of support from your national amateur radio society, which must be a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).
