About MARTS

The Malaysian Amateur Radio Transmitters’ Society (MARTS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1952, dedicated to serving amateur radio enthusiasts across Malaysia. As the national society for amateur radio in the country, MARTS fosters community, education, and technical advancement within the hobby.

MARTS provides a dynamic platform for operators to connect, share knowledge, and participate in contests, training programs, and emergency communication initiatives. The society also represents Malaysian hams at national and international levels—including as the sole Malaysian member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 3.

One major benefit of membership is access to Malaysia’s largest national repeater linking system—enabling seamless long-distance communication across states and strengthening nationwide ham connectivity.

Members also enjoy access to a QSL bureau, simplifying confirmation of international contacts with fellow radio amateurs worldwide.
