Pacific Region).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eligible countries are those in Region 3 whose amateur societies are members of IARU Region<br \/>\n3 as follows: Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Fiji, French<br \/>\nPolynesia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Caledonia, New<br \/>\nZealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Pitcairn Island, Samoa, Singapore,<br \/>\nSolomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and country credit from US<br \/>\nTerritories in the Pacific from Guam, Northern Marianas, American Samoa, Wake Island,<br \/>\nBaker Howland Group, as represented by ARRL or Chagos Archipelago (VQ9), represented by<br \/>\nRSGB.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The requirements for the IARU Region 3 Award from May 1 st , 2019 are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contacts with 5 (five) member countries for Basic,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contacts with 10 (ten) member countries for Silver Endorsement, and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contacts with 20 (twenty) member countries for Gold Endorsement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It is possible to apply for the award for contacts made in the following modes:<br \/>\n<strong>MIXED, PHONE, CW, DIGITAL and SATELLITE.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Contacts can be made on the following bands: 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6, 2<br \/>\nmeters, 70 and 23 centimeters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All contacts must be made from the same country using the same call sign that belong to<br \/>\nthe applicant (including special licenses for contests or events) and must be bilateral or<br \/>\ntwo-way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contacts in crossed modes and\/or bands will not be accepted, except for Satellite Mode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">QSL cards are not needed for this award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IARU Region 3 Award has no cost.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IARU Region 3 Award will be issued in digital file\u00a0 (pdf format) and will be sent<br \/>\ndirectly by e-mail from the IARU Region 3 Award Manager to the applicant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The application form is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaru-r3.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/files\/R3-503%20IARU%20Region%203%20Award%20-%20Rules%20-%20Log%20Sheet%20-%20Entry%20Form.pdf\">http:\/\/iaru-r3.org\/region-3-award<\/a> or by e-mail request to<br \/>\nthe\u00a0IARU Region 3 Award Manager.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submit a list of countries in Prefix Order, Call, and all QSO details Band Mode etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IARU Region 3 Award Manager ONLY can receive the application through this e-<br \/>\nmail address:<br \/>\n<strong>award.iarur3@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No printed and postal application is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">May 1 st 2019<br \/>\nIARU Region 3 Award Manager: Gjellani Joostman Sutama, YB1GJS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IARU Region 3 Award \u2013 Rules The IARU Region 3 Award may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur eligible under the general rules who can produce evidence of having contacted amateur radio stations in the required number of countries whose national societies are members of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) in Region 3 [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2722","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2722","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2722"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2722\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":2723,"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2722\/revisions\/2723"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2722"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=2722"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/marts.org.my\/ver2\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=2722"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
