VI4ASJ 2013 Australian Scout Jamboree

The Scout Association of Australia conducts the Australian Scout Jamboree every three years.

The Jamboree in 2013 is at Maryborough in the State of Queensland, not far from the famous Fraser Island.

The Maryborough Electronics and Radio Group (MERG) is hosting the Amateur Radio Shack, with assistance from the Scout Radio and Electronics Service Unit from Victoria, and various Scout leaders with an Amateur Radio License who are attending the Jamboree.

Scouts have been involved with Amateur Radio since the very early days of the hobby, and we continue the association throughout this Jamboree from          02 January to 12 January 2013.
